But you aren't disallowed from using it. Just select England and you get a UK number you can use. Then I entered my Dutch phone number and it does its magic. Jott won't even allow me to try their service without a US-based mobile phone. I can understand why. The European market is far smaller than the US market where Jott is based. And as you know, the Australian market is even less significant than Europe. Its probably a good move to master one market before trying to solve a global issue.

Spinvox down load site does not allow to select Australia....

Hey Matt, looks like your slideshow is still broken. It should work if you remove "localhost" from your script tag path.

I also noticed you were using a couple of ASPX/H files to provide the configuration.xml and data.xml sources...

are you dynamically generating those from the file structure somehow?

Having just manually edited a bunch of xml to get a gallery in I wrote a very simple asp page to do it... but doesn't probe the files for the metadata (descriptions etc) - so wondered if you had the secret sauce that does it (if so... is it something you could share on the codeplex site?)

Hi Matt,

I also viewed your source code to see why your slideshow isn't working for me and saw this in your HTML (below).

It looks like you have 2 references to SlideShow.js (there should only be one). One is pointing to "http://localhost", which as Daryll pointed out will not work for the general public. The other points to a relative path in the same folder which doesn't appear to be a valid file. Things should work once you get these files/paths/tags sorted out.

Hi Matt... Thanks for the complements! I'm one of the 2 devs that worked on this project, and have been curious about people's reaction to configuration and implementation.

I noticed your gallery section is not working with Slide.Show, so I decided to take a look at the issue. It seems your script tag link to the SlideShow.js file is pointing at a "localhost" path, which might not work for your visitors.

Sorry to hear your Blackberry does not have a camera, both the Perl and the Curve do, although they are not the best cameras. We are hopeful RIM will continue to upgrade their camera modules in future releases. If you are not addicted to email, you may want to check out the Nokia N95 or the Sony Ericsson K850, both have 5 mega pixel cameras and are plenty sweet!

To answer your questions about qipit, we run processing on the images to clean them up by dewarping, deblurring, removing shadowing, and glare. Then we allow the end user to tag the documents, which makes them searchable. You can even share your document with a URL or a Thumbnail Script for your blog. Here is a link to the a test page taken with the Nokia N95, that shows how easy it is to share with qipit.

Congratulations Matthew on buying your first home! The renovation will be STRESSFUL and require huge amounts of patience plus more $$$ than budgeted. However, all the aggravation, frustration and additional costs will be forgotten a year after completion.
