Work With Me

I am hiring for two specific roles: a video editor and a thumbnail designer. Each role starts with a test project so I can see your work, and if I like it we will move forward and talk about rates and ongoing collaboration.

Video Editor

Take any one of my videos and create a new 3–5 minute version from it. Add extra elements however you want to punch it up. At the end of your version, include a screencast showing how you built it in Final Cut Pro. Then share it with me on a private link (or make it public if you prefer). Also include a link to the Final Cut Pro project.

  • Final Cut Pro only. I am not interested in Premiere or DaVinci Resolve editors, because I need to be able to open and work with the project myself.
  • Typical videos are 8–15 minutes long.
  • I am looking to publish 4 to 8 videos a month, scaled up from where I am now.

Rates

Tell me what you would charge for each of these output levels:

  • 1 video (one-off)
  • 4 videos / month
  • 8 videos / month

Thumbnail Designer

Find one of my recent videos that is not performing well and create three new thumbnails to A/B test alongside the current one. If your thumbnails outperform the original, we will look at working together going forward.
